                                            River Update 8-28-14
Well things have changed since last week. We have had very few White Flys (Ephron), but as of the 21st that changed and we have been getting good hatches daily. We have been catching fish daily on Emergers, Attractors, BWO #18, Iso, and Nymphs, during the afternoon, and then about the last 2 hours of daylight switching over to Ephron Duns and Spinners into the night. Water temps & depths have been good, soon it will be all Nymphs & Streamers, so better get out and wet a line and enjoy! I have some open days till the end of September, give me a call to check availability. Note: River Clean Up on Saturday, September 6th come out and give us a hand and enjoy some great BBQ as I will be doing the cooking LOL along with Mike. Afterwards it is always a good time had by all. Go to Big Water Preservation.com for more info & contacts to help with our last cleanup, as next year we will be Anglers of the Au Sable. It is getting close to Buck Fever time of year. (White Flys are the Last MayFly hatch of the Season). You can also check my Au Sable River Weather link above and click on webcam and that will give you updated pics of the condition of the river. God Bless and see you soon. You can check my above USGS River Flow page for water temps on the Au Sable on a daily basis.
