River Update 2-11-16
Well the Ground Hog has said we are having a early spring, but by the looks of it I would say he may be wrong! Freezing temps and 8 inches of snow on ground and more snow in the forecast this week, so Mother Nature is making up for lost time it seems. My home river has little ice on it right now but that can still change. I'm not into hypothermia or frostbite so I don't do a lot of river fishing during the winter months. Rabbit Hunting, Coyote Hunting, and a little Ice Fishing, and tying fly's around a warm fire is about it for me. What ever you enjoy I wish you good luck, be safe and stay warm and I will see you in the spring. I will give you updated river pics above from now until spring so you know what it is looking like. Weekly reports and fresh pics as they come in during fishing season, so keep checking back weekly. Clients are already calling for guided trips for Spring hatches, so give me a call if you wish to schedule to get a good date in. God Bless & Good fishing, Dennis
To book any trips during winter months, call me or shoot me a email. I will now be at this number full time 313-291-2914, if I'm not there leave me a message, and I will call you right back as soon as I get in. Check out the rate page for pricing for half and full day trips for 2016. You can check the Weather link above and click on webcam and that will give you updated pics of the condition of the river. God Bless and see you soon. You can check my above USGS River Flow page for water temps on the Au Sable on a daily basis. Check out the updated photo page Trophy Room!
God Bless Dennis Davis/RiverGuide
