River Update 3-21-15
As you can see from the above photo's, both my Rivers are ice free, no flooding as of today, and water clarity is good. The only problem is were having cold nights at 10 and 15 degrees, and that is not helping matters any. Fishing has been slow, but should pickup in the next couple of weeks as hopefully warmer temps come in, but that is not saying that no fish can be caught as there are a few being caught, just not setting any records yet. Nymphs & Streamers for Trout & Eggs & Stones for Steelhead are going to be the main meals. If you want to purchase any of my Streamers, you can get them at Trophy Waters Fly Shop in Mio, MI also. Things should start falling into place with a little help from Mother Nature. I will have River updates weekly as soon as we start fishing daily on the River. Tight lines and lots of fish and I'll see you round the bend! Call me to set up Prime Time Hatch Fishing, or shoot me a email. I will now be at this number full time 989-873-6547, if I'm not there leave me a message, and I will call you right back as soon as I get in. You can check the Weather link above and click on webcam and that will give you updated pics of the condition of the river. God Bless and see you soon. You can check my above USGS River Flow page for water temps on the Au Sable on a daily basis. Check out the updated photo page Trophy Room!
God Bless Dennis Davis/RiverGuide
